PE tube

In the field of cosmetic packaging tube, PE tube is another widely used type in addition to laminated tube. In terms of raw materials, LDPE / HDPE is mainly distinguished. In terms of structure, it can be divided into single-layer, two-layer, three-layer and five -layer tubes.

The performance differences between LDPE and HDPE in application are as follows:

A. In terms of tensile strength, tensile length and impact toughness, the LDP is better.

B. in terms of heat resistance, the LDP is better.

C. high density polyethylene is better in terms of gloss and transparency.

The application differences of the structure are as follows:

  1. 2-layer tube: PE / PE can make pearlescent, light touch and other effects.
  2. 5-layer tube: PE / admer / EVOH / admer / PE, with very good barrier performance, which can effectively protect against ultraviolet radiation. Therefore, it is usually used in the packaging of cosmetics, sunscreen and some medical supplies.

Cosmetic tube can be divided into round tube and oval tube according to shape. Oval tubes usually have secondary splicing, so the price is usually slightly more expensive. We usually use the diameter of the tube to describe the capacity of the package. The common diameters of round tubes are 13,13.5,16,17,19,22,25,30,35,38,40,45,48,50,55 and 60mm, and the diameters of elliptical tubes are 16,19,25,30,35,40 and 50mm

C. is generally not affected by alcohols, aldehydes, ketones and esters;

D. halogen has little effect at room temperature;

F. is slightly absorbed by grease, and mineral oil and essential oil will dissipate through polyethylene.

G. stress cracking may occur under the action of stress cracking agent. Common stress cracking agents include detergent, soap, oil, fat, alkali metal hydroxide, etc.

C. smooth or frosted

D. pearlescent tube (pearlescent, scattered silver pearlescent, scattered gold pearlescent)

E. has ultraviolet, matte, bright light and so on
